I just want to take a moment and say that I am so thankful for all of my critique partners and those who have just been willing to read my stories, my raw, not ready to run ideas and even just kindly humored me while I babbled on and on about something that I have learned or found inspiring.

I am learning and revising… not only my stories and art but also my ability and willingness to accept both criticism and praise, feedback and encouragement. Without these generous people (they know who they are) my work in these areas would certainly be less formed but, more importantly, I would be far less as a creator.

I more or less look forward to critique sessions and the feedback that follows now… I mean, I’m human, so there’s a little trepidation in exposing what could be total rubbish to others. But, to be surrounded with people that truly hope you succeed and want to help you get there faster (if at all possible) is a wondrous thing.
